About RAMUHA INNOVATION
We build practical, evidence-informed tools that help people make better innovation and intellectual property decisions — before they spend time, money or a good idea on the wrong move.
Why we exist
A great deal of innovation guidance is procedural. It explains how to file, what forms to complete, which office to approach. Far less of it helps someone decide whether the filing should happen at all, or whether it should happen yet. That gap is expensive: the cost of a premature filing is rarely the filing fee — it is the drafting, the prosecution, the maintenance, and the strategic position you locked yourself into before you understood it.
RAMUHA INNOVATION occupies that gap deliberately. Where most resources answer how do I file a patent?, our work answers should I be filing yet?
How we work
- Decision-first. Every tool ends in a position, not a summary. Including the position that you should wait.
- Evidence over enthusiasm. Structured questions, written answers, and named gaps rather than general encouragement.
- Restraint about scope. We do not assess patentability, do not give legal advice, and say so plainly wherever it matters.
- Complementary, not competitive. Our tools are designed to sit upstream of patent professionals, technology transfer offices and institutional processes, and to make those engagements more productive.
Who is behind it
Raja Muhazam Farid — IP & Patent Practitioner. Raja Muhazam Farid works on intellectual property and patent matters, with a focus on the decisions inventors and organisations make before filing: whether an invention is clear enough, developed enough, and commercially justified enough to move forward. RAMUHA INNOVATION publishes decision-support material based on that practical vantage point.
The wider vision
RAMUHA INNOVATION is the long-term platform for Raja Muhazam Farid’s work: turning professional knowledge, inventions and difficult innovation decisions into systems, products and ventures that other people can actually use. It is organised as five pillars so it can hold more than one thing at a time without losing depth in any of them.
- Insights — think. Frameworks and direct answers on innovation and IP decisions.
- Tools — build. Decision systems and digital products. INVENTION GO/NO-GO™ is Product #001.
- Ventures — launch. Selected technology products, each with its own identity. TULENTRA is the first featured venture.
- Institutions — apply. Pathways for universities, TTOs and RMCs, accelerators and corporate innovation teams.
- Vision — this page. Why the work is sequenced the way it is.
What we publish now
The current focus is deliberately narrow: pre-patent readiness. The Pre-Patent Readiness hub collects the written material and hosts a free Quick Check tool, and INVENTION GO/NO-GO™ is the full assessment system. New territories will be opened only when they can be covered to the same depth.
Working with organisations
Universities, research management centres, technology transfer offices, accelerators and innovation programmes use structured readiness assessment as an upstream checkpoint. See for universities and innovation organisations or get in touch.
INVENTION GO/NO-GO™ is an educational decision-support tool. It is not legal advice, not a patentability opinion, and not a substitute for professional legal or patent advice. Assessment of patentability requires a qualified patent professional.
Product #001
Take the decision seriously before the spend
INVENTION GO/NO-GO™ is a 27-page, 100-point pre-patent readiness workbook covering six decision dimensions and returning one of four outcomes: GO, GO WITH CAUTION, HOLD, or NO-GO FOR NOW.
